What are the chances of long QT syndrome in my familly?

My natural father and my mother separated when I was born and the never talked again. My mother was so upset he broke all contacts with him and never discuss it with me so I did not even knew his name until recently, when i found more details about him from another relative of mine. what I do know:
___both my father and his father suffered from the same heart disease...my grand-father developed it as an young adult and was living in his 60's . He was also a army officer but had to quit. My father was the smallest of X? brothers. He developed the same problem when he was 6 or 7 and died in his late 20's -early 30's of a heart attack. He also refused heart surgery that could of corect his problem.otherwise they were healthy.
____my grandmother (mother's mother) took me to the cardiologist when I was 6 because there was a change that i would of inherit the disease. I went to this doctor for a year and she said that I am fine.
____I only had 2 "heart" episodes:1.during my final college exams I started fainting, my blood presure was low (70 with 50) and modified heart-beat- I did end-up in the ER. The EKG was modified...one wave was longer, but I do not know its english name and the heart beat was slow 45-48...I was treated with atropin I think and something else, and I was out of hospital after 36 hours -heart beat went up to 100-stress???-hospitals in my home country require cold blood and lack of emotions, but EKG was normal and I wanted to leave.Check-up: EKG -normal. heart sonogram-normal. suspected:low calcium
2. one hot summer day-unusually hot I started to feel fainty, cold sweat and rapid irregullar
heart rythm -went to ER and I was advised to hydrate myself better. Heart beat was normal after long wait in cool room.Check-up:EKG-normal. Heart sonogram-normal. suspected:anxiety.

now-I am the mother of two children -11years and 7 months, healthy children...and I expect the third. After I found about my father I was trying to find what was his problem . By now QTsyndrome was the only inherited heart problem I discoverd in the medical encyclopedia as present in people otherwise healthy, and manifesting at different ages...

Question:what are the chances that my father had QT and my kids would inherit it. I want to bring this to their doctor's attention?

Ps:sorry for the lenght of the message and my bad english...

I can not see any clues that point in the direction of Long QT syndrome. He probably had some other heart disease since they wanted to perform surgery on him.

Vistit a cardiologist and have a general check and after that feel ensured you dont ahve heart disease
