hi, my name is richard, my wife lisa was genetically diagnosed with long qt after a sudden cardiac arrest inflicted severe anoxic brain injury about 2 wks after the birth of our first child in february of this year.
lisa has a guidant aicd and a medtronic itb pump to treat (unsuccessfully) the severe spasticity that's blocking her rehab.
her docs have been reluctant to aggressively treat her out of fear of interfering with her icd or triggering another cardiac event.
i'm interested in folks experience in obtaining treatment for spasticity such as hbot or neuro stim in long qt survivors |
