I have asthma and all the bata blocker I have tried have caused shortness of breath. I had one incident of passing out. Today I had a tilt table test, which I did not pass out again during the test. What are the options now? Has anyone else had this problem?

I also have asthma and could not take BB because of severe shortness of breath and of course my rescue inhaler is on the list of meds not to take with LQT. My doc has taken me off of the BB and I am only allowed to take my inhaler in emergency situation. My family doc suggested taking singulair to control my asthma and continue the BB but my Cardiologist told me not to take BB. I also have an ICD and doc says if you have an episode you have your back up...yeah i'll just get shocked! :-)

If you have LQTS and dont can have betablockers, then an ICD should be seriously be thought off
